my new website.

It’s been a long, strange trip since I set up this shop on my virtual corner of the internet, but 4 years and 6 months later seemed like a good enough time to peel off those old coats of paint and take a hard look at what I wanted to accomplish moving forward. This storefront came to life on November 13, 2010, and on April 13, 2015, I am ready to say: This is who I am now. Come on in and see what I have in store for you.

Re-branding (and redesigns) can be — and perhaps should be — an arduous process. The research alone was enough to leave me weary many a night. But ultimately, I think I’ve arrived at a new peak that is ready to grow and flourish instead of merely survive and maintain.

I’ve promised many changes in the past, but most never fully developed into the product I wanted them to be. I not only like to think that such occasions were blessings in disguise, but that they were also a process that I had to go through to arrive where I am now.

About PageThat seems to be a recurring theme for me so far this year: “You have to go through it to get to it.” Like a sculptor with her chisel and hammer, I needed to work through the slab and carve the work of art I saw inside the marble before I began. And I now stand here today and say with pride, I’m finally creating what I want everyone to see.
