

Why This Is Awesome: I don't know the history behind this home or how long it's been sitting vacant, but I do know that it looks perfect for hosting a haunted house. Sitting on the corner of Court St. and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Newark, there's something about the wood and stone architecture, gray tepid natural lighting, and ominous razor wire fence that makes me want to take a tour of this creak-fest just to see if it has hidden passageways.
Artistically speaking, I imagine it would be a photographer or filmmaker's dream. And yes, those birds at the top of the photo are real.
